A bit about us

Family Business

Joanna and Emily are the core behind Two Many Cooks.  Working together as a mother daughter team for more years than they care to remember to bring the Surrey Hills, London and the surrounding areas a serious amount of food.

They are uncannily the same person, much as Emily might not like to admit it.  Either way, they are both ‘eating off the same canapé tray’  when it comes to writing menus and bringing the party.

Our Ethos

To this day, two things have never changed at Two Many Cooks: our rock-solid single-mindedness to supply delicious food and our professional but approachable service.

Every Two Many Cooks client receives a bespoke menu. That’s partly due to seasonality but mostly because we know each party or wedding day is unique.

Over the years we have built our own tried and tested bible of local suppliers. This includes seasonal produce, flowers, marquees, stylish hire, photographers, the list goes on.

We are so lucky to run the business from the heart of the Surrey Hills, an area of outstanding national beauty.

We are quite literally surrounded by beautiful produce, that we try to incorporate & support.

Our Story

In 1987, Joanna Rowlands started making and selling sandwiches to local businesses. With that, and her training at Leith’s Cookery School, Two Many Cooks was born.

Emily was carrying canape trays almost before she could walk. After school Emily went straight to work, ditched Uni for the love of food & hospitality & hasn’t looked back since.
